Welcome to my review for The Woods Edge By Lori Benton. This is a true Christian fiction book that is so fascinating you will not be able to put it down.
The story takes place just before the revolutionary war and it is steeped in history. Its the story of 2 families one white and one native american. I do not like to give to much away when doing a review for a book so Ill just say that it has to do with a baby taken from his mothers side to replace a son who died the same day to a white family.
The Oneida mother had twin boys and while she was sleeping Major Reginald Aubrey fearing his wife's reaction after loosing yet another child decides to exchange the living with the dead.
The consequences of this action cause all kinds of problems with both families but God is working to not only heal heart but heal families as well. This is a fantastic story of the frontier and an epic read.
I love when a book that is said to be Christian really is and this one is all that and more . I hope you give it a try soon and than for looking at my review I received a free copy from blogging for books so I do do this review
